Holidays in Greece (Crete).

During this week in Crete, I got about the island on local buses.Renting a car would have been more convenient and would have saved time..But local transportation provide more relationship with the population.

Next trip: April 2008 Vietnam (Hanoi-Hué-Saigon) as my father lived there for 5 years (1949-1954) as a soldier during the war, that will be a special stay for me...

The nice weather was wonderful to go sightseeing...But less appropriate to run a marathon. However I have ranked 62 nd out of 2580 finishers, not that bad. The atmosphere along the race was cheerful: music bands, pom-pom girls (see the picture)...So I would recommend this marathon. Now, my last marathon was Paris 2008 : 2h51 and I ranked 494 and there were 37.000 runners

As soon as I crossed the finish line a pretty young girl offered to give me a massage...surprisingly it was the most painful moment of my stay in Hungary.
